Recordal Renewal Now Available as a Standalone Service

Franchisors approaching the end of a recordal term can now file a renewal directly through the Services catalog, without re-running the full New Franchise Recordal wizard from scratch.

The renewal service reuses the franchisor's existing company profile and prior agreement data, running a fresh trademark cross-validation and compliance check before DIPR reviews and reissues the certificate — typically within 7 business days.

Franchisors with a certificate expiring within 90 days will see a renewal reminder on their dashboard; the public verification page also flags certificates entering this window as "Expiring Soon" so franchisees and counterparties are not caught off guard.
